Connecting people to place in the heart of downtown Berkeley
Center Street Plaza features deep green technologies and thoughtful community place-making strategies. The community plan for the plaza, developed for Ecocity Builders by Walter Hood and Hood Design, was endorsed 8-1 by Berkeley City Council in March 2010. Final technical studies and design work is now underway with the City of Berkeley.
